Coaching
We also coach individual family members who wish to approach difficult, high emotion, discussions and negotiations in a collaborative, problem-solving way.
Case Study
Simon was in dispute with a number of cousins representing four branches of the family over a fortune originally created by their grandfather.
We helped Simon to identify what was most important to him in achieving a resolution, and why.
We helped him to consider what might be most important to each of his cousins, and to analyse why they might accept, or reject, a number of proposals that he came up with to meet his own needs.
And we helped him both to formulate a proposal that went as far as possible to address those concerns, and to work out how to deliver that proposal to his cousins (through carefully chosen intermediaries) to give it the best chance of success.
Finally, we coached him in preparation for the ensuing negotiations.
